This has been quite a while coming, I think. I don’t really know why I need a website, I just wanted a place of my own, a place I could share my writing and my projects with anyone who might be interested. Mostly, though, I think I just wanted a place to upload some of my work without necessarily having to rely on other websites.

There’s nothing in the worldbuilding section yet as of writing this, but feel free to check out my other stuff. Shortly after posting this, the first three chapters of my remastered webnovel R.E.N/D will be available to read, and you can also check some info on some of my other projects in the projects page. It’s not much, but it’s a start, and something something Rome wasn’t built in a day!

As you’ve probably noticed, this is a wordpress website. I used one of the free templates I found and kind of changed it around to fit my own thing, but other than that I can’t really claim I “made” it myself. I can’t remember what the original template was called, but it had a fish on it. That said, there’s a decent chance there will be ‘bugs’ and things that won’t work as intended, so feel free to comment on here or hit me up on Twitter and let me know if something looks wrong!

On a more solemn note, this website should have actually been published a couple of weeks or so ago. That didn’t end up happening because sadly my Grandad Peter passed away on the 28th November. Rest in peace, Grandad. You’ll always be in our hearts.

That’s about it for this first ‘blog post’. I’ll keep writing updates as I find the time or motivation, but I don’t know if I’ll ever actually have anything important/interesting enough to say that’s worth reading. Still, the main focus will be on writing and though I’m certainly not a master perhaps some others will be able to get something out of it. For R.E.N/D, I don’t want to commit to a schedule yet because it’s too soon, but rest assured more will be coming.
